The Dental Team always encourages the use of photography as a means of communication. This safeguard practice, which is very useful for the dental technician to have a visual comparison of the real situation of the patient's mouth, ensures that Studio dental technician and laboratory work together on the same information, being able to compare the chromatic choices for the prosthesis and in general coordinate to satisfy needs of the patient to the best.

 

Our advice

To ensure that we always have up to date information, we have adopted a protocol for collecting the photos in touch with our partners. Below there are a few useful tips to make photos in line with this protocol.

Digital Smile System Protocol/h2>

Making only 2 more photos, after providing the patient with the calibrated Special Eyewear, the Dental Team will be able to use the Digital Smile System (DSS) software to digitally rebuild the patient's smile, where necessary.

Where to send photos

Upon the registration in our network, the Dental Team can receive photos on any support platform (e-mail, instant messaging, USB drive) and is ready to use external storage services already available to customers.

For anyone who wants to collaborate with us, and does not have storage systems or do not want to use the aforementioned means, the Dental Team offers to create a personalized access to a Dropbox folder in which it will be possible to directly archive the photos after having collected them in folders marked with date and patient’s name.
